Put Magic to Work in Your Company
|
"Sure, the magic is impossible to figure out. But more important is the way you involve everyone in the show. Participating in your magic is an unforgettable experience. When the magic happens in your very own hands - WOW!"
Phillip F. Hudson |

To be effective in magic you need to work hard at it, and for a long time. If you do the same effects -- the ones people love the most -- for 50 years as I have, then you're going to get really good at it! I've been in those business trenches with you. I became a full-time professional entertainer after my second early retirement from the corporate world. I honed my close-up magic skills for eight years at board meetings, luncheons, dinners and cocktail receptions as a Bank Marketing Association executive in Chicago. A fine edge developed at their conventions, educational programs and trade shows, and before that as a banker-member of that organization while I was a vice president at one of the top international banks. I hold a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree from Northwestern University, Evanston, and a Masters from its Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Chicago. I also earned a Doctor of Magic from Fechter's Finger Flicking Frolic. (It's conferred for performing three times at this invitation-only, annual, international gathering of the finest close-up magic specialists.) By the way, I also have won 11 first-place magic competitions, and have appeared on dozens of TV programs. What's much more important, though, is what my clients think.
My bottom line: The secret to my being a popular magical entertainer is not the tricks, but rather how I present them. It's the "singer, not the songs" concept. People get to help in my magic (but only if they really want to). Several items in my stand-up program can involve the entire audience ...and you! |
Your company's name will appear by magic on a blank playing card. (I tailor the messages as well as the props.) My style is interactive. I carry on a conversation. I ask questions and respond to the answers. In fact, some of the funniest lines I use actually came from the spontaneous things audiences members have said over the years.
Don't forget our holiday and "reward" shows for your extended family of employees and friends. There is also customized magic on hand to make your firm stand out. In fact, I have some guidelines which should be quite helpful whether you are looking for stand-up, close-up, strolling, table-to-table or other magic format.

"What makes [your entertainment] so enjoyable is not just the magic tricks (which are terrific) but your sincere approach to ensuring that the audience is having fun."
